Artistic Direction's Advice
Art Gallery III Millennium

At the center of Rita Blitt's work there is movement: in particular dance's movement. The artist shows a iron sculpture titled "Dancing I".

The abstract expressionism of Rita Blitt becames out and out dance on paper. the artist during is working, likes to hear music and to see dance. The work you see is the dynamic and kinetic trace of dancer's body, Blitt wants to catch only the essence, the pure movement's instinct and to hold it into the eternal motionlessness of sculpture.

Blitt wants to transform into cultural totem the human grace, the strength and co-ordination, aimed at sublime dancing. A comparation we can suggest with the Mirone's Discobolo.
