Biography
Aldo Cordero, self-taught master of wrought iron, was born in San Pietro di Govone ( Cuneo ) on 1945. He lives and works in Cavanese from 1971. His sculptures are part of a lot of private collections. From the origins he prefers to express himself autonomously, as an outsider, far from the traditional schemes of academy. His sculptures seem to be apparently static, but they can be defined iron poetry.

Also this work is into the fortunate and multiform movement of poor art, that now has great success between italian artists' creativity, maybe for the illustrious examples. Very effective the poetical synthesis that reduces to pure archetypals symbols of wide meaning. It is clear also a light irony of pop genre, to involve attention on the fact that concepts, that need deep interest and culture, when are popularized through the generalist media, become banal.
