Biography
The artist Vittorio ( Vito ) Alghisi was born in Capriolo near Brescia on 15 April 1947. Brought up into a humble family, he always had the passion for drawing and painting and he practised those arts with growing enthusiasm. Actually he lives and works in Colombaro di Corte Franca near Brescia.
The Alghisi's paintings had a lyricism that sings with tenderness into a scented loop of a simple, tamed and good nature: the dream's nature.

Art Gallery III Millennium
It is a light-tone and impressionist-taste painting. The artist shows his love for French Impressionists but he does not ignore quotations of Italian Masters like De Pisis. The solar and inattentive personality of the "en plein air" artist is well represented; the painting is lightened of dramatic aspects to aspire to evoke the pleasure for the life in contact with nature. Even if the works are made into the studio, far from the "locus amoeno".
