Biography
The artist Andrea Soraperra was born on 12 August 1945. He studied at the Istituto d'Arte di Pozza di Fassa and at the sculptor Toni Gross's Atelier. Actually he lives and works in Canazei near Trento.

The artist Andrea Soraperra carries on a charcteristic and ancient tradition of ours Alpes. The wood sculpture is a prosperous activity in Trentino and it enumerates international famous artists. The works he presents are a good representation of the mountain's art always dreamy and mysterious, fascinanting e unmistakable. The sculpture "the star" is very appreciated, for his unconventionality.
